About This Project
Το έργο αφορά στην εσωτερική αναδιοργάνωση και διαμόρφωση των χώρων μιας παλιάς αποθήκης στην Θέρμη Θεσσαλονίκης με σκοπό να φιλοξενήσει το showroom, τα κεντρικά γραφεία και το εργαστήριο ραπτικής της εταιρείας εισαγωγής και μεταποίησης υφασμάτων, Delli Textile. Στην συνέχεια έγινε σχεδιασμός του κεντρικού διευθυντικού γραφείου και του χώρου έκθεσης. Υιοθετώντας μια ανοιχτή κάτοψη όπως συναντάμε στους βιομηχανικούς χώρους, επιλέχθηκε μια καθαρά industrial αισθητική αφήνοντας ακάλυπτο το εμφανές μπετόν στα φέροντα δομικά στοιχεία της αποθήκης, χρησιμοποιώντας βιομηχανικό δάπεδο και δημιουργώντας ένα πλέγμα από τις σχάρες καλωδίων να διατρέχει τον χώρο. Η χρωματική παλέτα ακολουθεί τις αποχρώσεις του μαύρου ενώ χρησιμοποιείται κατά βάση το μέταλλο σε συνδυασμό με τις ξύλινες λεπτομέρειες στην επίπλωση του χώρου. Με αυτό τον τρόπο υπογραμμίζεται η ζεστασιά και η απαλότητα των υφασμάτων ερχόμενη σε αντίθεση με τα ακατέργαστα και σκληρά υλικά του βιομηχανικού σχεδιασμού. Επιπλέον οι λιτές γραμμές και η σχεδόν μονοχρωμία που επικρατεί, συμβάλει στην ανάδειξη των εκθεμάτων.
The project concerns the internal reorganization and configuration of the spaces of an old warehouse in Thermi Thessaloniki in order to accommodate the showroom, the headquarters and the sewing workshop of the textile import and processing company, Delli Textile. Then the CEO office and the exhibition space were designed. Adopting an open floor plan, evident in industrial spaces, a purely industrial aesthetic was adopted, by leaving the exposed concrete in the load-bearing structural elements of the warehouse uncovered, by using industrial flooring and by creating a mesh of the cable trays to run through the space. The color palette follows the shades of black, while metal is mainly used in combination with wood detailing mostly at the furniture. In this way, the warmth and softness of the fabrics is emphasized, contrasting with the raw and hard materials of the industrial design. In addition, the simple lines and the almost monochromaticity that prevails, contribute to highlighting the exhibits.
